Overconsumption has led to a situation where the exploitation of natural resources has reached or is about to reach its peak. To change this and stop selling backpacks made from valuable raw materials, the designers at Doughnut have reformed the brand's classic backpacks and switched entirely to recycled materials.
The material of the Reborn series consists of REPREVE®️ polyester and is a sustainable textile made from recycled plastic bottles. The bottles are shredded, melted, extruded and then spun into polyester yarn. The leather is made from recycled, shredded leather. Doughnut's vision is to manufacture products with a minimum of resources and to produce waste-free in the future. From now on, Reborn's stylish bags will not only carry your belongings, but also tell the unique stories of the recycled materials they are made from.
